Tamnoon Secures $12M Series A to Elevate Cloud Security with Hybrid AI-Driven Platform

Israeli startup Tamnoon, known for its cloud security remediation platform, has secured $12 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Bright Pixel Capital, with participation from Blu Ventures, Mindset Ventures, and previous investors Merlin Ventures, Secret Chord Ventures, Inner Loop Capital, and Elron Ventures. This funding brings Tamnoon's total capital raised to over $18 million, following its Seed round less than a year ago.

Tamnoon has developed a hybrid human-AI managed service designed to improve cloud security by reducing cloud exposures through optimized prioritization, triage, remediation, and prevention for both pre- and post-deployment stages. This approach strengthens organizations' Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) programs and enhances overall cloud security maturity.

Founded in 2022 by Marina Segal (CEO), Idan Perez (CTO), and Zohar Alon (Chairman) — all of whom previously worked at Dome9 Security, acquired by Check Point in 2018 — Tamnoon currently employs 20 people between its offices in Israel and the U.S. Since its Seed round, Tamnoon has expanded its customer base across North America in sectors including insurance, entertainment, healthcare, retail, and professional services.

The platform integrates seamlessly with leading cloud security solutions, such as Wiz, Orca Security, AWS Security Hub, Check Point CloudGuard, Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Google Cloud Security Command Center, and Oracle Cloud Guard.

“Neither fully automated nor solely human-driven approaches can effectively tackle the complexity of cloud security posture management,” said CEO and Co-founder Marina Segal. “Relying entirely on automation in critical environments is risky. Tamnoon combines our AI-driven technology with expert human oversight to safely reduce critical threat exposures to near zero within months.”

Shay Michel, Managing Partner at Merlin Ventures, commented, “One of the biggest hurdles in security technology adoption is the lack of dedicated teams and resources. Tamnoon empowers organizations to scale effectively, providing clarity to entrepreneurs and R&D teams on how to implement security technologies and grow confidently.”
